Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at age five. Her family lived mainly living in Orange County. She received her graduation at the University of California, San Diego in 2015. This was when she also got her big break in acting. Pernas appeared as a guest on NCIS and Leverage, before securing the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap-opera in 2016, the actress landed the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, fluent in four languages, has appeared since on The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. For Blood & Treasure, from 2019 until 2020 she portrayed Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas was dating her ex- The Young and the Restless star Justin Hartley. The romance started after Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. News surfaced in the month of the month of May that Pernas and Hartley were recently married during a secret ceremony.
