Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born 19th December, 1986. The Canadian native was employed by Hollywood's film industry on many different projects. Her most notable role is that of Alexis Rose, a CBC TV sitcom, Schitt's creek. The series premiered in 2015 and ran until 2020. Her performance was well-received by critics, and she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in the city of Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. Both of her parents were instructors. She joined Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. Next, she decided to attend Concordia University and pursue a theatre performance degree.
